so close but so far... 242/690 in the big tourney my QQ was all in 3 ways againts 34suited and ace 9... this deep into a tourney and people are shoving that crap!
if the hand held i was top 30 with top 80 getting minimum $500.
in the $42k guaranteed i finsihed 550/4000 odd, bluffed off a 20bb stack hoping to represent the flush with four diamonds out but matey made a brave/good/gay call with his AJ no diamonds but ot be fair he did have trips.....
could of folded my way into the money for sure but ot be honest i was knackered.
had to make a withdrawl of £50 ($80) as im out on a stag do this weekend and do not have funds in my bank.

Big Tourney Tonight
Satted into the $200k guaranteed on Paddy Power tonight which is a $320 buyin, a lot bigger then my usual forays into MTTs which are normally about $5 lol.
alongside it i'm gonna play the $42k guaranteed on Full Tilt using one of my three $26 tickets and probably some other mtts which fall within my bankroll management.
bankroll has been between $985 upto $1060 and is currently $1030, still playing Rush as my main game will be interesting to look at my stats etc at month end.

Almost felt sorry for the guy
wow real positive day yesterday, I started off with 2 quick 15 minute sessions at Rush Poker and won around $45 mainly due to a couple of nice hands, one AA>KK preflop and another where i held 44 and got it in on a 4557 board 3 ways against 56 and QQ and i held.
Anyway's I stopped there and had a few drinks watching telly with the mrs before she went to bed when I stuck on some shows of my own, now I didnt feel pissed so I logged on and did some microstakes tourneys coming nowhere, I then fired up 1 table of $50 rush and said to myself that if my bankroll dipped below $1030 i'd stop, i lost a few dollars and was on the verge of quitting when again i get aces against kings and it holds again for a nice $70 pot a he wasnt full stacked.
I then go bum hunting the headsup tables, telling myself i must quit if i lose a stack as plenty of times in the past i double someone up, tilt and end up losing loads of money.
so searching the tables I find someone siting with $20 and jump on and he was terrible!! he called every raise preflop and seemed to hang on in every pot, after the 3rd stacking in quick time I felt a bit guilty so I typed in mate you shouldnt be playing 36 off suit in a raised pot and he started asking me advice on how to play!! asking about my experience etc!! i gave him a few pointers but still stacked him 2 more times before i had to quit as my daughter woke up crying. In a way i felt relieved as the money seemed a bit to easy, does anyone ever feel this way? guilty after winning?
i ended up $160 up for the day an ive withdrawn $200 as the first withdrawals towards my debt repayments - £130 down £870 to go!

in Poker Things change quickly
Wednesdays Blog I was down beat as I was down to a mere $4 profit, today my bankroll is a nice $944 and I still have $50 to come in tomorrow on completion of my final day on the rush poker week, hopefully sometime next week ill be upto $1100 and ill be able to make my first withdrawal towards my debt clearing task!!
Out on the piss tonight, first time in months, got a football do then into Brighton to hook up with some mates on a stag do, should be a grin if i can keep the pace and stop worryinh about how much money i spend, might even play a session in a bit and see if i can spin up some beer money lol!

Chan to outlegend Ivey?
Last year the poker community all went a bit nuts when Phil Ivey final table the main event, this year Ivey is out but a true legen in Johhny Chan has top 10 chips with around 200 players left. How awesome would it be if Chan could final table and have a shot at a record 3rd world title? tempted to put some money on him with a second shout to Johnny Lodden who is a decent high stakes pro.
did not play much yesterday but managed to recoup around $40 of the $60 lost, played a real bad hand headsup which went as follows, I raise 75dd on the button and big blind calls, flop comes 5910 with 1 diamond, bloke bets around $2.50 i raise to $6 bloke calls, turn is 9 diamonds, bloke bets $10 and i shove with my 1 pair and flush draw, bloke insta calls with kings but i suck out with a diamond river. the pot was about $50ish and i was all in with not a lot of outs and there was no way he would fold for so little.
ah well bankroll now $815, my rush poker today should see me clear another $20 of the bonus, think im nearly done with completing it.

down to $4 profit
ouch lost about $60 on Rush poker this morning which now means im down to bakroll of $774, so a mighty $4 profit...
really gonna have to study my game and spot where im going wrong, today for instance calling down with draws and im still unsure whether im playing small pairs right.
trying not to be to downbeat about it but firing up my poker tracker and seeing red lines aplenty is a bit of a killer.
ah well hopefullyu i can pick up a rush of cards and take advantage of the rush poker bonus

Lazy Posting = Losing
didnt get to post over the weekend and to be honest dont really wanna report on how shit im doing, lost at pretty much everything since the last post, bankroll has dropped about $100 and im losing money overall at the tables although up a small bit with rakeback/bonus
had a deadly heads-up session against a total tard who has lost $19k playing headsup poker. he of course rinses me for nearly $90. an example of his great play is here -

only bright spot for me is winning a heads up game which was part of the RTR team challenge, hopefully ill do myself justice in the final which i am now the first qualifier for.
so bankroll is $814, real sad stuff seeing. only bright spot is that if i can maintain even a breakeven level at rush poker for the week ill get the $50 rush poker bonus, probably another $40 off my bonus and rakeback on top. i really want to be on $1000 by month end.
anyways long post will aim to post again tomorrow.
