yuck just played a session to clear the final part of my biggest ever bonus without my HUD running and dropped 3 buyins...yuck.... showed how reliant i am on on using opponents stats as normally i can make a fold but today i was calling all kinds of river bets hoping the villain was a donk but mostly running into better hands, i did lose a $60 with AK to A5 the river completeing a flush but shit happens.
luckily i had won a $200 pot on Friday on a $100nl table when a villain moved all in on a 1023K board when the king popped out, i had set of tens and my mild fear of a set of tens were gone when the villain pops over 89 no draw. lol.
bonus should be in my account tonight and bankroll is $780.

Drunk Poker Again
I got destroyed last night…. should have stopped playing L
Played about 6 tournaments during the match, only cashing in one of the satellites to the Double Deuce so I now have $22 Tournament Dollars…. Overall probably broke even in tournaments.
Anyways with 10 minutes of the match left I 1 tabled a 25c/50c table and won about $20…. The match finished and I was in the mood for poker so I played 4 tables of 10c/25c, played for ages and won about $60… happy days.
Im guessing now that the drink kicked in as I went onto a 50c/$1 heads-up table…. 1st hand in I have K4 small raise preflop and the flop comes Kxx he bets $7 I flat call, turn is a blank he bets $14 I flat call…I think I was scared of a bigger King.. River is a low card but puts a 3rd spade out, ugly turd bets $40 and I call…… ugly turd has A10 of spades and I instantly leave the table fuming.
To be honest I don’t think I was getting away with the hand as if I re-raised he would of stuck around with the nut-flush draw but what am I doing on that table!!!
From then on I lose another $10 or so playing heads-up Razz, Heads-up Stud and for all I know snap, Battleships and Soggy Biscuit.
I had to log on this morning to check my account balance as I had no idea what I finished up as.
Luckily I have $650 and $20 in tourney dollars so I reckon with rakeback im probably even for the night so not the end of the world, it could have been worse.

Reality Check
No sooner than i make a brag post the following night of poker was nearly a total disaster!! In the end just a setback.....
Played 4 tables of 25nl 6 max before I went to the pub to watch Liverpoo (not a typo) and ended up $25 down…. Mainly because of losing a buy-in with KK to QQ….. as soon as I earnt my 50 Full Tilt Points I left…
Had about 5 pints watching the game and got a lift back, decided to carry on playing 25nl 6 max and I had an absolute nightmare, was down $95 at one point, and normally I would whinge about bad beats but they weren’t – I just played terrible, it was like I had turned into Rafa!
I 4bet all in with AQ trying to push some bloke of a pot and he had AK…..and take a look at these hands… 1st one is pretty sick but I should of pushed him off the flop…. 2nd hand WTF am I doing calling a re-reaise with A5 out of position…. And why push the river!!

Moving up to 25nl
since my weak play seeing me dump some dollars to Tubby Thomas Bihl... i took the strange decions to move upto 25nl with the bankroll at about $450 a bit lower than what i should move up with, however after running well and getting paid back $40 i was owed.....mainly helped by a hot session winning $123 in 240 hands my Bankroll is now $630 - goos times, the session was really good and my 6 max stats since my redopsit on 1st August is sick...10 buy-ins in 450 hands... graph here.
i know my sample size is terrible butmy plan is too get upto $750 which with the biggest ever bonus should be by the end of the month. when i reach that figure i will be regularly withdrawingh profit to pay off some debt... i know people say you shouldnt withdraw but i have no plans in moving upto $50nl and getting out of debt is my priority.
ill leave you with two hands.... love the river in hand 1 obviously.... lesson learnt from villain...dont slowplay!

Hot Session!
had a bad night Friday.... had got my stack upto $440 since the last post and at peak was upto $480 duting Fridays session.... a quick sit down at 50NLHU as i had been doing well and i was stacked within 5 hands my Q9 on a raised pot hitting a QJ2 flop...i reshoved him all in and he had aces.... terrible play by me. i dropped another $40 at Omaha and a $16stt and went to bed really pissed off with myself.
went to work Saturday morning and as usual my dad was wanting to play poker, he went to the gym and told me to play a MTT so I entered the $15 freezeout on Paddy Power with a $2k guaranteed pot and 133 runners (small overlay).... 3 hours later we were on the final table and eventually busted in a 3 way pot with AQvsKJvs99 and finished 4th for $162.... not a bad score covered my £40 "wages" for the morning.
anyways my post was meant to be about my session last night, literally a quick blast before Match of The Day 1 tabling 25nl.... i won nearly $100 in 20 minutes! sickness, never run that hot before, it worked out at 496bb/100 :-) i even managed to beat a flopped nut straight by hitting quads on the river, did not put him on a flush, just a draw! take look -
went to work Saturday morning and as usual my dad was wanting to play poker, he went to the gym and told me to play a MTT so I entered the $15 freezeout on Paddy Power with a $2k guaranteed pot and 133 runners (small overlay).... 3 hours later we were on the final table and eventually busted in a 3 way pot with AQvsKJvs99 and finished 4th for $162.... not a bad score covered my £40 "wages" for the morning.
anyways my post was meant to be about my session last night, literally a quick blast before Match of The Day 1 tabling 25nl.... i won nearly $100 in 20 minutes! sickness, never run that hot before, it worked out at 496bb/100 :-) i even managed to beat a flopped nut straight by hitting quads on the river, did not put him on a flush, just a draw! take look -

More ways to earn 50 Full Tilt Points
another poker free night in theory as i watched the England game which was a bit dire... goals coming from defensive mistakes instead of a touch of class a bit disappointing in a match between two top nations....only really Defoe impressed me and as he's a spud i can it nullifies any appreciation.
anyways... at half time i decided to load up full Full Tilt and entered there early daily double.... 3 hands in i suffered a bad beat with QQ losing to 105 on a 952 flop which put me on monkey tilt ( i had been drinking) so i literally went all in every hand on both tourney's till i was eliminated.... i know that sounds like im a mega-donk but id rather lose 2 minutes of my life and $11 in tourney fee's then grind out on a low stack with anger inside me potentially erupting at a bad beat later on!
anyways.... after the match i had calmed down and i carried out me new grind of my 50Full Tilt Points a day... previously i had been 8 tabling 10nl for roughly 90 minutes and whilst i still want to carry this out to get a decent sample size at this level when im drunk i want cheap action... so after a bit of research i have found that you earn 7 full tilt points for each dollar you pay in tournament fee's... i am quite partial to the $3.50 + 30c Super Turbo sit and goes so using my super math skills 7 dollars divided by 30 cents is 24 super turbo games to earn 50 Full Tilt points! a definite lightbuld moment for me... a do the tourneys in sets of 6, each set takes about 10 minutes - so i earn 50 ftps in less than an hour and as its basic all in or fold strategy i can play when drunk as a skunk and at least break even!
below are some graphs... of my 62 games so far.... both nights i have been drunk which takes the win rate down.. and my overall sharkscope as well... im evry annoyed that the weekend that i won $2019 is exempt from Sharkscope and Official Poker Rankings as i won during the software update and none of the tourneys would be picked up!

Buying Full Tilt Poker Points
Had monster session by my standards last night, 8 tabled 10nl cash for 90 minutes winning $24 over 1000 hands plus about $5 of rake to come back... i think i only got up twice and my head was spinning after... i have no idea how people can 24-50 table at all...
in this session i think i had the biggest run of cards ever... i had aces and kings 8 times each, AK 7 times and queens 4 times.... is this a ludicrously high number? to be honest they werent that profitable and looking at the session pocket 3's was my most profitable hand probably cos i stacked someone who actually had a full stack on a J 10 3 flop.. villain held J10.
Anyway to the title of the post... i have earn about 6k in full tilt points and was browsing the store and came across the "Black Velour Bathrobe"... me and my mate laughed and he said i should buy it and wear it to the next home game.... a £10 bet later and i was game! it looked like i had a lot of playing to do as it cost 11k, meaning i am 5k short...a quick google search lead me to my beloved 2+2 forum and the marketplace forum... from here there were loads of people who literally had millions of FTP's to sell!
The going rate is between $3-$3.50 for 1000 points, so later after transferring a sound guy $32 through paypal i am know awaiting my pimptastic bathrobe.
the question is should i wear anything underneath at the next homegame?

On The Up and Up
bank roll upto $350 now so effictively nearly $170 profit in a week.
mainly wins are at 10nl but i also have dallied into headsup cash against oppenents with $25 or less.... i know i shouldnt really but normally people who shortstack Heads-up are poor players.
went fairly deep into two MTTs last night finishing in the 30's of fields of 350+.
my deposit bonus has finished tho so not all good news.
bit of short, pointless post but just wanted to log that i am playing, winning and keeping sensible.

Full Tilt Infected With......Shortstackers
WTF is going on on Full Tilt at the microstakes? every table i go on half the table if filled with people sitting with $2... they all have redic stats like 4/4 or 7/2 and they are so easy to beat....they always have high pairs or AQ/AK so you can exploit with the suited connectors etc.
does make my screen a bit colourful as i mark shortstackers as purple, for the record i have average players as blue, donks as green and sharks at red.... i have only marked one person does as shark at 10nl, i cant believe i struggled so much at first.
anyways so hard to write an exciting post when all i have been doing is grinding 10nl and doing the occasioal $1 stt with my busto mates.. on the plus side for me my bankroll is growing and im doing my 50ftps a day so im on course for retaining my bronze iron man status.
ill leave you with some graphs to show my improvement at the 10nl

A fun Session
wow played for a couple of hours tonight, low limits no pressure on achiveing anything - just playing to have fun and it felt good.
2 of my mates played some tourneys with me a couple of cheap mtts where i did nothing busting with aces against jacks and Q10... but thats what happens in these donkaments right?
we did 3 $1 9 man stt's together and after busting out first in game number one... i rallied up and won the other 2 games.... i know its not really an achievement to win a couple of $1 STT's but it felt good.
after that i still had the poker feeling so i decided to multitable some 10nl... now as you might know from previous posts cash is not going well for me.. over 3k hands at 10nl im down about $40 so tonight i was happy to play 600 hands and win a whopping $15... i know this is all peanuts but when i am despartely trying to utilise some bankroll managment this is a huge score for me. i also managed t rack up 50 full tilt points so i now know the volume i need to put in to achieve iron man status again this month.
on a non poker related note my sister babysitted my 3 daughters tonight and despite me and the mrs going out for dinner together we both came home and ignored each other, her sitting watching soaps and me playing my games - she had a little moan but maybe if it wasnt that time of the month i might of logged off.....

Busted
Full Tilt roll now 2 cents.
lost the lot playing cash after a fruitless and boring night playing $3 and below tourneys - yuck!
i have $200 on stars and am looking for a transfer to Full Tilt of abbout $150, i have posted on the RTR forum so hopefully someone can help.
this is literally the last available bit of cash i have spare for poker at the moment so i better sort my head out, stop being a bitch and just grind the cheap tourneys where i know i do ok.... my sharkscope is as follows, not a great sample size but it shows i can win.

aces cracked in my big shot
about a month ago i won $26 token and ive been saving it for a night when im in the mood for a serious run.
tonight is the night and i entered the $30k guaranteed KO tournament.
3rd hand in and first ive played this happens.
impossible to get away from this, i have to push to get rid of any flush draws?
still i just came 10th in a 90 manner shame it was a $1 entry which won me about $3 yay me.
im also 2/674 in a freeroll for pokermillion round 1 at the mo... top 27 get through to next round.
so much regret for my degen moments at cash....not so long ago i had a $1k roll...
in fact last night i had $340 after my win.
still the game rolls on. wish me luck and good luck to you.

gash at cash
im officially shit at cash play.... i used to be good but something has gone completely wrong... i cannot even win at 10nl FFS.
some bad beats but im making calls where i know im beat.
bankroll was upto $340 but is now $220... lucky i saw sense and stopped after losing my 1 attempt at $50nl headsup.
back to grinding tourneys it seems... poker is definitely only ever going to be a hobby and not the money earner i thought it would be.
Edit... i ididnt see sense for ling, bankroll now $120... i cannot belive it played on a soft looking $100 table
lost 88 all in pre flop to a shortstack who has AK ...
QQ on 548 flop he has 55
KK on a 8J2 flop he has 88

Poker on Diazepam and Freeroll Hunting
Hi all, not sure what ive done to do it but my back is completely fucked.
been to doctot and he reckons ive twisted some muscle or summit and i could be crippled for a couple of weeks. i've been prescribed diazepam, Ibuprofon and Co-Drydamol - im like a zombie.
however in my zombie like state ive managed to do ok playing some MTT's albeit at the microstakes -
$2 rebuy - 17th/336 - $9.90
$3 45 manner - 1/45 - $60
$2 rebuy - 23/214 - $6.90
$2 sat to double deuce 1/63 - $22
£2 rebuy - 3/336 - $174
in a set of tourneys yesterday i actually passed out due to the medication so when i settled for the evening session i decided to just play cheap as possible....ive found a great way to find freerolls, if you go to the private tab on tourneys there is normally a bout 10 freerolls where you just have to go to a website and get the password, last night in entered a collegefootball freeroll and came 5/167 for a huge $3 score. obviously not a great investment but a good laugh and handy if i go busto again soon!
since everyone is posting music videos... heres some music accompanying Arsenals future legend Eduardo Da Silva - Would-be are you sure we dont have an out and out goalscorer?
