Buying Hand Histories

as i have moved up to 25nl i have decided to spend £25 to purchase 3million hand histories from handhq.com, i have found this info very useful as it immediately lets me know who the regulars are and of course has the vital stats which i need to narrow them down to ranges...

word of warning though, importing these hands into poker tracker takes ages, i attemped to do it all in one go and it took 18 hours to import 1.5 million, i then attempted some of the housekeeping tools like updating the cache and some 20 hours later it hadnt finished!!

my advice is to import 100k hands at a time and set the housekeeping to run afterwards.

last night i played my biggest session in a while, 1000+ hands with a small profit of $26, with i guess around $10 to come in rakeback, not a great result but seeing as i was down $60 with some typical donk beats early i am happy enough - as long as the bankroll is growing then i need to be happy.

on a non poker note my mrs is pregnant! with 3 girls already i really need this to be a boy, it really is shit or bust - come on baby boy - one time!!
